Social responsibility workshop for licensed premises staff

Press release   •   Nov 18, 2019 13:36 GMT

A workshop to help any staff working where alcohol is sold is planned for early next year.

Legislation requires that anyone involved in the sale of alcohol - on or off-sales - has a social responsibility to all their customers. In response to requests for help understand what this means in practice, Moray Council's licensing team are holding a workshop at Moray College on February 5th.

Anyone interested should email the team at licensingconsult@moray.gov.uk to register.

Famous for its colony of dolphins, fabulous beaches and more malt whisky distilleries than any where else in Scotland, Moray is a thriving area and a great place to live. Nestling between Aberdeenshire and the Highlands, Moray stretches from Tomintoul in the south to the shores of the Moray Firth, from Keith in the east to Brodie Castle in the west.
